William Earle. Born in 1672. William's birth year as recorded in the Tiverton vital records. William died in 1715.
William was of Dartmouth when he sold 112 acres to Peleg Slocum in Aug 1693 for £65. He sold more land in 1696 to Robert Havens. He was constable in 1695 and 1696. He moved to Pomfret, CT, and several of his children went to the Beekman Patent.
On 26 Dec 1695 William married Hepzibah Butts, daughter of Thomas Butts (ca 1641-ca Dec 1702) & Elizabeth Lake (ca 1642-aft 1709), in Little Compton, RI. Born on 30 Jul 1673.
