John HUNTER was b. abt. 1636 somewhere in England. He m. Ann, also b.
in England. Their son John HUNTER b. abt. 1666 d. 1736 m. Margaret ALBIN
in 1693 in Ireland. Of their nine children, Peter HUNTER was lost at
sea, hence the large number of male descendants named Peter in this
family, in his memory.
